We are excited to share the date of our next Full Moon Ceremony with Ivana Yellowback.
The Full Moon ceremony is an iswkewak (women’s) ceremony that celebrates our ties and connection to Grandmother Moon.
Ivana Yellowback a Cree iskwe will present the teachings about the full moon ceremony and guide us through a pipe ceremony. She will explain the origins and meaning of this connection.
All supplies provided. Skirts are optional. We will have a few on-hand for people to borrow.
This ceremony is for all woman and gender diverse folx who are connected to Heartwood. Men who are interested in attending will have the opportunity to attend as a Firekeeper. A Firekeeper will tend to the sacred fire outside and ensure it does not go out. Firekeeper spots are limited, please inquire if you’re interested.
Priority will be given to Indigenous participants.
